Spent a while this afternoon wandering around Cambridge looking like a tourist.

Seems I've a lot to learn about SLR photography, but got some valuable experience today if not many very good photos. At least digital makes it cheap to make mistakes, and also easy to check the apeture, shutter speed, effective ISO and so on for each shot after the fact.

I was in the right place at the right time to get a rainbow over Kings, none of my attempts really make a great photo, but cropping the best of them makes a nice snapshot.
