I'm impressed with these contact lenses so far. They're a fairly new sort that allows extended wear, since the material lets through far more oxygen than older lenses. They've settled in remarkably quickly, it was only a few days before I was wearing them from morning to night. I slept in them for the first time last night, and had a check-up this morning that showed no problems, so I'm now on for (nearly) a week of continuous wear before another check-up.
I hope it does all work; if so it should mean I only need to really remember that I am myopic once per month (and if I should ever go swimming).
Oh, and does anybody know how much "Sodium Hyaluronate" costs? I ask merely to find out what the likely mark-up is on the "Blink" brand eye-drops I bought on the optician's recommendation. Twenty 0.35ml vials of 0.15% solution of sodium hyaluronate in distilled water (with a bit of sodium chloride and sodium phosphate) cost a fiver. That's £714 per litre.
