Pleasant weekend, just the right balance of getting out of Cambridge, seeing friends, getting exercise and lazing around. Sunday's bike ride went through Haslingfield, as just about every ride west of Cambridge seems to.

I did learn the full implications of the phrase "half-baked" when I forgot to time how long a loaf had been in for, and guessed wrongly. The resulting mess was cooked outside, still dough inside and entirely wasted.

Argh! Life has become intolerable. Google has been saying "Server Error" at me (and everybody else at work) all afternoon. Several people have said that it still works from non-work machines.

I'd forgotten what life was like before Google.
