I took my bike into the shop this morning because the chain is slipping over the gear cogs. Looking at the rear cassette, there are one or two broken teeth, so I think that'll have to be replaced. It's only been just over a year since I last got the cassette replaced, even for an 8-speed that seems a little poor.
Also, bought Doom 3 at lunchtime today. Looking forward to a quiet weekend killing zombies.
University Cycles impress me again. £28 for new chain and a new 8-speed cassette. Just while he was there he replaced the rubber grips on the handlebars, a worn gear cable, a spoke, trued the rear wheel and tightened up the brakes a bit, no extra charge.
