The other night, I had Flammenkuchen at a restaurant specialising in Alsatian dishes¹. Not a dish I'd encountered before, but interesting, sort of ultra-thin extra-crispy pizza with lots of sour cream rather than cheese (the one I had also was topped with garlic, snails, garlic, mushrooms and garlic).
