It looks like I am somewhat out of shape. With the light evenings and warm weather there wasn't much excuse not to go out and do something on Sunday afternoon so I cycled to Ely and back (via Cottenham, Wilburton and Witchford). Going there was great, mainly thanks to a good tailwind. Coming back straight into the wind was serious effort, Twenty Pence Road felt like a very long hill without the benefit of a good view. I'm glad I didn't try anything more ambitious for the first ride of the summer.
