Sometimes I'm tempted to keep a Pepysian diary...

Arose at 7 o'clock, washed and breakfasted, whereupon my colleague, Mr. Turner arrived with his motor carriage, and so to Reading to visit with NetApp and Oracle. There, failed to meet Mr. Damerell who was concerned about his business. After some hours of meetings and a pleasant luncheon, we set out to return to in the afternoon by route of the warehouse in Heathrow. While Mr. Turner surveyed the ADSL connexion, I passed my time observing the operations of the business. I was most astonished by the number of Sony PSPs that abounded therein. It was a most warm day. Returning to Cambridge, Mr. Devaney called me to the Fort St. George for ale and supper with himself and Mr. Gibbs, after which to the Carlton. There I met with many of the usual patrons, also meeting Mr. D. Sheppard's brother and sister-in-law for the first time. Participated in the quiz, which was the cause of much merriment, though we did poorly. And so to bed.
